Colorado 3Day 2002
We have chosen to take part in a very worth while cause in August of this year.The two of us are involved in the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. We will be walking 60 miles in 3 days, starting in Boulder and ending in Denver Colorado alongside of thousands of other men and women who have made the same commitment to sleep in tents, shower in trucks, and to push ourselves to limits we never thought possible.
Our cause is this. To raise funds for different areas of breast cancer, including: medical research and clinical care; a national financial assistance program for medically underserved women who need breast biopsies and support services; advocacy training; community-based breast health programs and more.
While our cause is clear as day our monetary commitment is well beyond our personal means. Our sacrafices are small in comparison to those suffering from any type of cancer, yet without donations from outside sources, we would not be able to participate in this years walk. Both Cecelia and Dan need to meet a $1,900 minimum EACH to be able to walk in Colorado.

Cis and I have been a team for a very long time now. We were high school sweethearts in the 80's and have never looked back.
We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters that we adore and are trying to raise as best we can.
We didn't have a care in the world until the events of September 11th,
2002 made us realize
that we should be doing more for others and caring less about unnecessary extras for ourselves.
